EDITORIAL

Lee In the battle against Apartheid fascism and bare-faced, blatant lies about us - the suffering, toiling African peoples -, in the battle against the racist ideology and genocidal practices, forty-five years ago with others, I left my homeland, South Africa, to inform the world about the truth regarding the capitalist and imperialist crimes in Africa. We founded defense committees and collected funds to help the families of our imprisoned and tortured comrades, so as to be able to pay the lawyer fees to try and save the legal way the lives of our leaders like Nelson Mandela, Robert Sobukwe, Steve Biko, or Neville Alexander. Between 1963 and 1977, all over Europe, Canada and the United States of America, with the help of all the international friends of the African Revolution, I collected funds, gave hundreds of lectures in many cities and even addressed the Special Committee against Apartheid of the United Nations. To me, it had become crystal clear that ever since the 'discovery' and 'christianization' of our unfortunate continents, ever since the First Conquest, we have been victims of a cruel, mental holocaust, of Information and Education for Barbarism. Overseas, with our very blood boiling with rage, we had to read the half-truths, the lies, the hoaxes and myths about us - the 'miserables' and 'wretched of the earth' in the words of Victor Hugo and Frantz Fanon. With pamphlets, booklets, flyers, miserably attended lectures and letters to editors, we tried to counter the waves of disinformation, the tsunamis of mind and thought control, the avalanches of CIA 'psy ops' mind manipulation operations. We were told that Chaka, Lumumba, Mandela, Agostinho Neto, Samora Machel, Kwame Nkrumah, Fidel Castro or Ho Chi Minh were 'red communist monsters', 'tyrants' and 'dictators', and many of us even fell prey to these character assassination maneuvers and racist defamation campaigns. Nowadays, we see their continuation in all those parts of the world where progressive forces are trying to change the sinister, capitalist status quo, be it by mere social reforms, be it through efforts to generate a revolution. Nowadays, however, the international machinery of lies and defamation is infinitely more powerful than way back then. Compared to the mental venom injected across the globe by the Murdoch empire and others, all our present campaigns of supplying truthful information about fascist operations and crimes on our continents, all our educational endeavors, have been reduced to a drop on the lava stream of the ongoing international mental holocaust. Our material and financial capabilities and support are ridiculous in comparison to the fortunes moving the unfortunate wheel of disinformation world wide; and real, true freedom of expression, let alone of democratic human rights, are hindered until this very day to see the light. The world of ideas keeps being dominated by the dominant ideas of our epoch, that is, the ideas of the economically and politically dominant social classes. When it comes to whatever modest an effort to reform or to launch an alternative to our existing capitalist reality, over 80% of international news suggest these experiments to constitute a deadly danger for the 'international community', an 'axis of evil', a terrorist threat, a negation of democracy and human rights, and so on. Such is the case of Venezuela and its president, Hugo Chavez, or Bolivia and Evo Morales, or even Zimbabwe and Robert Mugabe. All news regarding these countries are always negative, always destructive, always alarming. On the other hand and over the decades, 80% of news about the USA and their respective governments have been positive, constructive, encouraging; hiding the atrocities, conspiracies and crimes committed against other governments and peoples who happened to stand in the way of US strategic interests. ***** Venezuela: Juventud,

En esta triste época de la llamada globalización ‘neoliberal’ ‘salvaje’ del capital y del capitalismo, a estas alturas de venideras guerras mundiales que podrían destruir el planeta entero, ha llegado el momento para definir lo que está en nuestras mentes revolucionarias y para hacer lo que todavía es posible en función de emancipar la vida en la Tierra; de la manera contraria seríamos pronto callados por siempre y la especie del hombre podría desvanecer al olvido galáctico. A pesar de siglos de ‘cultura’, ‘civilización’, ‘educación’, religión e ‘información’ europea cristiana occidental, para miles de millones de nosotros, que vivimos como esclavos asalariados en el Sur, la ignorancia es bienaventurada. Muchos de nosotros todavía creemos en mitos coloniales y fantasías religiosas, bailamos nuestro último baile en el Titanic imperialista que se hunde, y celebramos nuestro último picnic encima de este volcán de la globalización corporativa, que fue chocado por una partícula poderosa liberada del bajo mundo, y que puede estallar en cualquier momento. De manera similar, gigantescos terremotos, generados a través de HAARP en Alaska, utilizando tecnología de Tesla, están sacudiendo en reacción en cadena los propios fundamentos de la existencia humana; sequías y hambrunas nos están amenazando en todos lados, aniquilándonos por los millones. El dólar se encuentra en agonía, ya dejó de confiar en dios; el precio del petróleo alcanza récord histórico, se asecha una terrible guerra mundial y aún la mayoría de las personas no sienten nada, no ven nada y no piensan nada. A pesar de casi dos siglos de ilustración socialista científica y filosófica, a pesar de las revelaciones del ‘zeitgeist’ en los videos del internet, todavía tememos que captar nuestros verdaderos problemas por sus raíces y en lugar de esto preferimos pulir nuestras cadenas de ilusión, tememos cualquier libertad social posible, y cuidadosamente evitamos la emancipación global. Qué es lo que nosotros, los millones, podemos hacer y pensar? Para alcanzar la meta de la emancipación global, no tenemos alternativa en la batalla contra la barbarie global, sistémica y sistemática. Sí, por Jehová, estamos en ‘tiempos finales’ y Apolo indica que estamos cruzando el Rubicón, el Zodiaco, hacia la Era de Acuario. Durante los años 60, en todas partes del mundo la juventud estudiantil protestando estaba fascinada por esta trascendencia revolucionaria y creativa; estaban viendo documentales sobre las guerrillas en los ‘sótanos de jazz’, se pusieron gorras negras, y con su música de la ‘nueva era’ le dieron la bienvenida a la revolución, bailaron al ritmo de las esferas galácticas. Esto ocurrió en tiempos anteriores a la ideologización de la ‘quinta dimensión’. Hoy, a nivel global se trata de captar el imperialismo por sus raíces culturales y económicas, de ser radical, de erradicar un orden mundial obsoleto y apocalíptico. Esto sólo se logra a través de su negación dialéctica, de la aniquilación de sus raíces principales: la explotación económica de la naturaleza y del hombre; la dominación política del estado de la clase dominante con todas sus instituciones opresivas y su maquinaria corrupta; la discriminación social, que va desde las relaciones amo-esclavo desiguales hasta la represión de mujeres y niños, hasta el racismo violento abierto contra indígenas y continentes enteros; la militarización y el genocidio universales, desde el ‘dominio de pleno espectro’ hasta las ‘guerras preventivas’, el ‘humanismo militar’ y la ‘guerra contra el terrorismo internacional’; y finalmente, la deshumanización, desde un holocausto mental global originario desde la Grecia Antigua, hasta la alienación humana total, llevado a cabo por la adoctrinación capitalista, la manipulación dominante, la desinformación mediática, la educación para la barbarie, una cultura moribunda llena de desocialización y de disociación patológica. Aquí no se trata de un asunto meramente académico, al contrario, esto es una batalla real de vida y muerte. Antes de poder hablar del marxismo, primero hay que estudiar en nuestras escuelas, misiones y universidades el capitalismo de manera científica y filosófica. Pronto descubriremos que con una ideología dominante, con una lógica formal, una metafísica religiosa, con pacifismo y reformismo, no seremos capaces de identificar el carácter destructivo y belicoso del capitalismo. Conocer el marxismo viviente significa conocer el capitalismo globalizado, saber que el gran negocio es la guerra. En Venezuela no podemos introducir los grandes negocios (basados en el ‘dios’ dinero) y el socialismo al mismo tiempo. Un socialismo que no es radicalmente anti-capitalista, que no es marxista, que fomenta el consenso y las alianzas de clase, que niega la lucha de clases, a la final, degenerará en reformismo. Esta verdad histórica fue verificada científicamente por todas las revoluciones sociales que se intentaron, se abortaron o se traicionaron durante el siglo XX. Cuba es un caso muy especial, pero incluso allí la revolución social está en serio peligro. Sólo si conocemos la verdad transhistórica sobre el capitalismo, podemos descubrir las raíces de su negación, es decir, del socialismo, del marxismo. Este último está tan vivo y globalizado como el capitalismo mismo. Lo que inhibe su reconocimiento y su realización es la ideología capitalista, es la ausencia de una teoría filosófica y una práxis científica. Por lo general son el estudiantado radical, los movimientos juveniles y las vanguardias de los trabajadores los que investigan y enriquecen la lucha de clases. Sin embargo, el control mental y el control sobre el actuar son tan brutales, que equivalen a una masacre de los cerebros de nuestra juventud a escala mundial. En ninguna parte del mundo este horrible crimen se manifiesta tan claramente como en Venezuela, donde la ‘oposición’ junto con los medios masivos nacionales e internacionales hablan pestes del Presidente Hugo Chávez y de la Revolución Bolivariana. Pero también algunos camaradas han internalizado la ideología y práctica burguesas y ha resultado demasiado difícil el exorcismo de esas actitudes y comportamientos capitalistas de la noche a la mañana. Independientemente del hecho que nuestros actos y pensamientos pueden ser parados, censurados o prohibidos, a veces incluso por parte de nuestros propios camaradas de lucha, existen hechos científicos y verdades filosóficas justo en frente de nuestros ojos, que muchas veces nuestras mentes parcialmente manipuladas y adoctrinadas no logran captar, entender o aceptar. Así que, en este espíritu, veamos un poco el fondo de la actual inercia revolucionaria de la juventud y de los estudiantes en nuestras escuelas y universidades. Cuál es la causa de este peligro social para el futuro de la humanidad? Qué es lo ausente, lo que falta y qué es lo que se destruye sistemáticamente? La respuesta es bastante simple: Es la juventud en sí misma, son los sueños diurnos juveniles anticipatorios, es el principio de la esperanza concreto y utópico (Ernst Bloch)! Ahora mismo vamos a dar un ejemplo del poder y de la veracidad teóricos del verdadero análisis marxista y de la predicción científica transhistórica. Inter alia, en comparación con los años 60 del siglo pasado, con sus protestas globales masivas contra la guerra de Vietnam, con su apoyo concreto a los movimientos de liberación de África y América Latina, con los movimientos del poder negro en los EE.UU., con las luchas de liberación contra el imperialismo mundial, con las protestas contra el Apartheid en Sudáfrica y el sionismo en Israel, ahora, en vísperas del siglo XXI, hay muy poca actividad y pensamiento revolucionarios entre alumnos, estudiantes y la juventud en general. ¿O será que el señor Murdoch sencillamente no nos informa sobre una eventual rebelión global? Con excepción de algunos valientes paradigmas políticos, en Venezuela e incluso dentro de la Revolución Bolivariana nos alarma la ausencia de una práxis y teoría emancipatorias, es decir, del socialismo, del marxismo, la ausencia de un fuego universitario. ¿Qué pasó? ¿Qué está pasando con nuestros ministerios de educación, nuestros centros docentes, sus programas de estudios, sus docentes y profesores? ¿Por qué la gran mayoría de la juventud académica de las universidades venezolanas tradicionales apoyan tendencias reaccionarias, reformistas y anti-socialistas? Claro, durante la última década se ha hecho bastante para mejorar esta situación crítica, pero la conciencia de clase de los trabajadores sigue creciendo sólo a paso de morrocoy. ¿Cuál es el carácter de clase entre los estudiantes de nuestra educación mayor? ¿Qué tipo de intereses de clase defienden, qué aspiran? ¿Por qué buscamos las soluciones revolucionarias principalmente en el pasado, cuando en realidad el futuro es nuestro? ¿Por qué en Venezuela resulta tan difícil establecer nuevas escuelas y universidades revolucionarias, crear una conciencia de clase entre los trabajadores y conquistar los estudiantes para la revolución y el socialismo? ¿Cuál es el papel del consumismo, de los video juegos, de la música, de los chat en internet, de la educación, de la religión y la ideología capitalistas en la pacificación globalizada de la juventud? ¿Será que en la globalización ya no existen trabajadores algunos, que forman una clase social? ¿Los estudiantes no son futuros trabajadores y parte de la lucha de clases? Por cierto, hay que hacer y estudiar estas preguntas, pero dentro de los límites de un breve artículo como éste, sólo podemos delinear algunos de los factores que son de pertinencia emancipatoria. Científica y filosóficamente, preguntas son respuestas, y respuestas son preguntas, son cuestionables. Ahora, realmente entrando en la historia dialéctica viviente, ¿qué fue lo que realmente fascinó y hechizó a la juventud de los 60? ¿Qué fue lo que se tenía que parar a través de LSD y otras drogas de la CIA? Actualmente, ¿qué es lo que está ausente en Venezuela? ¿Qué fue lo que publicaron todos los grandes editoriales metropolitanos en los años 60? Por ejemplo, ¿cuales fueron las obras que re-publicaron las editoriales alemanas, Fischer o Suhrkamp? Aunque no lo creen, eran las obras clásicas de los marxistas, obras como las de León Trotski! Escritos de Fidel Castro, de Malcolm X, de Ché Guevara, y sobre las teorías de la dependencia. Los estudiantes leyeron y estudiaron esos libros y desarrollaron sus propias teorías y formas políticas de resistencia. Era un tiempo donde uno primero estudió un libro de Marx, por ejemplo, el Manifiesto Comunista, y sólo entonces uno fue capaz de medianamente criticar al marxismo, pero por lo menos de manera constructiva. J. T. LeeMarx y Engels pronosticaron al hechicero capitalista, que ahora perdió el control sobre las fuerzas del bajo mundo. Durante los años 60, la teoría revolucionaria estaba en el aire, la práxis emancipatoria estaba por nacer y la juventud estaba en las barricadas. Al mismo tiempo ocurrió una reestructuración del mercado mundial y se introdujo una nueva revolución tecnológica; comenzó la globalización orweliana, el terrorismo global, para apagar este fuego emancipatorio. Empezó la demonización moderna de la lucha de clases, del socialismo, comunismo y marxismo. Claro, en cuanto a este fenómeno se escuchó y se leyó mucho. Sin embargo, mientras tanto, ¿qué fue precisamente lo que desapareció de los programas de estudios de todas las principales universidades? ¿Con qué se reemplazó la historia de los movimientos obreros y de la lucha global de clases? Por ejemplo, ¿quién siguió enseñando materias tan ‘obsoletas’ en la Universidad de los Andes durante 26 años? Muchos de los camaradas hoy en posiciones políticas importantes aprendieron sobre el marxismo en mis seminarios. Sin embargo, regresando a nuestro tema principal, aquí podemos iluminar solamente los factores más importantes, que iniciaron aquel fervor revolucionario juvenil a mitades del siglo XX, que captaron la imaginación de los ‘condenados de la Tierra’ y que aparentemente están ausentes en la actual vida académica venezolana. Mi profesor, el filósofo alemán, Ernst Bloch resumió esto como las corrientes frías (incisivas, científicas) y calientes (emocionales, teóricas) del marxismo, cuando explicó en sus reflexiones filosóficas la entonces abortada revolución socialista en Chile. Pero primero, veamos quienes a escala mundial apoyaron el status quo fascista de la clase dominante, y qué fue lo que atacaron con toda la fuerza feroz de su poder de estado ideológico y beligerante. Parece ser, que hoy, esto ya no es necesario. ¿Por qué? Será que fueron Platón, en su ‘República’ o Hitler, en ‘Mi Lucha’ los que dieron la pista a las clases dominantes de qué hacer con una educación controlada o con los medios de comunicación de masas? Durante la época reaccionaria y racista de McCarthy en los EE.UU., así como también durante los 60, cuando la ‘Guerra Fría’, los actores y pensadores políticos más odiados en la opinión pública eran o bien los verdaderos marxistas o bien las personas críticas, quienes fueron estigmatizadas como ‘comunistas’ o sistemáticamente eliminadas como ‘marxistas’. De esta manera perdieron la vida hasta un millón de ‘comunistas’ en una masacre en Indonesia, que se llevó acabo dentro de muy poco tiempo. El crimen y el error que estos cometieron, era el de dejarse inspirar por los pensamientos de un Marx, que hoy por hoy es considerado ‘obsoleto’. Los regímenes del Apartheid en Sudáfrica incluso legislaron leyes contra el comunismo, y cualquiera que poseía o que estudiara obras de índole marxista, enfrentaba una sentencia de 5 años de prisión mínimo. De hecho, fue el ministro de justicia en persona, el que tenía el poder de decidir lo qué era comunismo o marxismo. De esta manera fue censurada por el Apartheid mi tesis de doctorado en filosofía sobre la influencia del marxismo en Sudáfrica. El régimen racista y fascista era radicalmente anti-marxista. El arquitecto del Apartheid en Sudáfrica, Hendrik F. Verwoerd, estudió el anti-comunismo en el ‘Tercer Reich’ de Adolfo Hitler. El nazismo alemán era radicalmente anti-marxista. También muchos gitanos, negros y marxistas terminaron en el holocausto contra los judíos. Aunque muchos marxistas famosos eran judíos y fueron perseguidos por el régimen nazi, el sionismo, que es la versión israelí del apartheid, permanece anti-marxista hasta el día de hoy. El estalinismo asesinó los bolcheviques de Lenin, y erradicó el marxismo revolucionario en la Unión Soviética y en otras partes. En Venezuela, durante las últimas décadas, todos los gobiernos ‘puntofijistas’ eran anti-marxistas, negaron la dialéctica y la lucha de clases. En China tenemos un ‘comunismo’ libre de Mao tse-Tung y del marxismo. ¿Qué pasó con el marxismo de Tito de la Yugoslavia de aquél entonces? ¿Es verdad, que todos esos regímenes pro-capitalistas y pro-imperialistas querían salvarnos, salvar el mundo del ‘peligro rojo’, del marxismo? Marx y Engels pronosticaron al hechicero capitalista, que ahora perdió el control sobre las fuerzas del bajo mundo. Por Franz J. T. Lee Ahora, ¿por qué la juventud y los revolucionarios de Venezuela urgentemente necesitan conocimiento sobre el marxismo? ¿Qué es lo que el marxismo nos puede enseñar sobre nuestro presente orweliano? ¿Qué es socialismo sin marxismo? ¿Qué es lo que nuestros profesores eruditos esconden a los estudiantes? Veamos ahora lo ‘antiguo’, lo ‘obsoleto’ y lo radical que puede ser el marxismo. Ya en 1848, los primeros teóricos científicos de la actual globalización, Karl Marx y Friedrich Engels, describieron la actual crisis global con una precisión teórica, que acierta perfectamente la realidad de hoy. Fueron ellos, que pronosticaron la actual realidad apocalíptica de una ‘sociedad burguesa moderna’, de todos los magnates corporativos del capitalismo, que a través de los siglos fue conjurado por el dictamen mortal de la propiedad privada de los medios de producción, de la concentración y monopolización del capital y de elites, las cuales “ya no serán capaces de controlar las fuerzas del bajo mundo”. En el Manifiesto del Partido Comunista escribieron: “Ante nuestros ojos se está produciendo un movimiento análogo. Las relaciones burguesas de producción y de cambio, las relaciones burguesas de propiedad, toda esta sociedad burguesa moderna, que ha hecho surgir como por encanto tan potentes medios de producción y de cambio, se asemeja al mago que ya no es capaz de dominar las potencias infernales que ha desencadenado con sus conjuros.” 1) Aparte del precio del petróleo aproximándose a los 150 dólares por barril, de las hambrunas y de la sobre-producción global, referente a lo anteriormente mencionado, el 13 de junio de 2008, algunos titulares de las noticias mundiales, escogidas al azar, rezaron lo siguiente: * EE.UU. y Rusia sacan generales del alto mando en preparación para la guerra global total. 2) * Australia ordena a sus tropas de dejar a Irak, demandas por crímenes de guerra contra lideres estadounidenses. 3) * CHINA ORDENA ATAQUE CONTRA LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS POR CATASTRÓFICO TERREMOTO. 4) * Avión espacial estadounidense tumbado del cielo sobre sureste de Asia. 5) * Brasil prepara prueba nuclear para proteger los derechos del Amazonas. 6) Vivimos realmente en tiempos peligrosos. Y esto ya fue pronosticado en 1848. Cuan lejos ha llegado el hechicero yanqui en sus asuntos belicosos, nos lo demuestra uno de los artículos mencionados anteriormente. Esto vino del "bajo mundo" (Marx): “Científicos militares chinos y rusos ... afirman declaraciones de Benjamin Fulford, investigador canadiense y ex-jefe de la agencia Asia-Pacífico de la revista Forbes, donde en un video perturbador, desde sus oficinas japonesas le habla al público estadounidense sobre los detalles de cómo los EE.UU. atacaron a China mediante la emisión de una onda de choque de mil millones de voltios desde las instalaciones de HAARP en Alaska.” 7) “Científicos Rusos están especulando que el ataque de los Estados Unidos contra China estuvo ‘exactamente cronometrado’ para que coincidiese con los peligrosos experimentos que se están llevando a cabo en el laboratorio de la Organización Europea del Colisionador de Gran Hadrón para la Investigación Nuclear (CERN) y de lo que informamos previamente en nuestro artículo “EL CERN HA “CLAVADO“ EL CORAZÓN DE LA TIERRA CON EL TERREMOTO DE CHINA Y EL VOLCÁN DE CHILE.“ ¿Qué es lo que causa esas severas contradicciones globales?, ¿qué es lo que genera las guerras mundiales y produce la recesión? Hace siglo y medio atrás, Marx y Engels ya explicaron en el Manifiesto del Partido Comunista: “Desde hace algunas décadas, la historia de la industria y del comercio no es más que la historia de la rebelión de las fuerzas productivas modernas contra las actuales relaciones de producción, contra las relaciones de propiedad que condicionan la existencia de la burguesía y su dominación.” 8) De esta manera y desde un punto de vista materialista dialéctico los antepasados científicos del socialismo también explicaron los orígenes de la propiedad privada, la religión, las clases sociales, la dominación de clase, la lucha de clases y la historia, que son conceptos básicos para entender el estado moderno, la educación dominante para la barbarie, la ideología y la práctica capitalistas, la desinformación global y la fatal alienación intelectual y académica. Además, revelaron que bajo el capitalismo no sólo son algunas sociedades, las que están “en riesgo”; al contrario, es la sociedad capitalista entera, la que está “a prueba”. Lejos de volverse ‘obsoletos’ y mucho antes de redactar y publicar El Capital, sabían que el capitalismo periódicamente está siendo espantado por la “sobre producción“ y que esencialmente es un sistema de permanentes crisis epidémicas, en otras palabras, que es un modo asesino de auto-destrucción: “Basta mencionar las crisis comerciales que, con su retorno periódico, plantean, en forma cada vez más amenazante, la cuestión de la existencia de toda la sociedad burguesa. Durante cada crisis comercial, se destruye sistemáticamente, no sólo una parte considerable de productos elaborados, sino incluso de las mismas fuerzas productivas ya creadas. Durante las crisis, una epidemia social, que en cualquier época anterior hubiera parecido absurda, se extiende sobre la sociedad: la epidemia de la superproducción.” 9) La barbarie capitalista como la experimentamos actualmente en la globalización está directamente vinculada a una sobre producción de bienes y de mercancías humanas físicas, a la eliminación de las fuerzas de trabajo físicas, que es la única verdadera fuente de la plusvalía, a su reemplazo por una galaxia de computadoras y máquinas - las cuales ni consumen ni realizan ganancias -, a la monopolización y concentración de capital, a la pauperización progresiva geométrica y a la hambruna de miles de millones de personas a escala mundial. “La sociedad se encuentra súbitamente retrotraída a un estado de súbita barbarie: diríase que el hambre, que una guerra devastadora mundial la han privado de todos sus medios de subsistencia; la industria y el comercio parecen aniquilados.” 10) ¿Y de qué manera la burguesía capitalista a nivel global supera esas crisis periódicas? [117] Preparando crisis más extensas y más violentas y disminuyendo los medios de prevenirlas.” 11) Es precisamente esto lo que está haciendo el imperialismo mundial ahora; lleva a la humanidad al borde de una guerra mundial atómica. Finalmente, el capitalismo ha llegado al Rubicón, a la fase de la globalización, del globofascismo y terrorismo. Los EE.UU., el ‘Imperio’, es solamente una parte significativa del imperialismo mundial. Empezó la Segunda Conquista: la toma militar de los recursos naturales estratégicos, del petróleo, del gas, la biodiversidad, de los metales y minerales, del agua y del oxígeno. Lee In this dreadful era of so-called 'neo-liberal', "savage" globalization of capital and of capitalism, of coming world wars that may devastate the whole planet, it is high time that we state what is on our revolutionary minds and do what can possibly still be done to emancipate life on earth; otherwise we may soon be silenced forever and the species man may fade away into galactic oblivion. In spite of centuries of European, Christian and Western 'culture', 'civilization', 'education', religion and 'information', for billions of us, the wage slaves living in the South, ignorance is still bliss. Many of us are still believing in colonial myths and religious fabrications, are dancing on the sinking imperialist Titanic and are picnicking on a rumbling, already erupting, globalized, corporate volcano, that has been struck by a powerful particle liberated from the nether world. Similarly, mighty earthquakes generated by HAARP in Alaska, using Tesla technology, in chain reaction are now shaking the very foundations of human existence; droughts and famine drive us out of existence. The greenback is in agony, it does not trust in God anymore; oil prices are reaching record heights, millions die of hunger, a terrible world war is being launched, many of us feel nothing, see nothing, think nothing. ... In spite of nearly two centuries of scientific and philosophic socialist enlightenment, of the revelations of the internet video "Zeitgeist", we still fear to tackle our real problems at their very roots, we prefer to polish up our mental chains of illusion, we dread any possible social freedom, we very carefully evade global emancipation. What is to be done, what is to be thought by billions? To achieve the latter, we have no choice in the battle against global, systemic, systematic barbarism. Yes, by Jove, it is "end times", Apollo is indicating that we are crossing the Rubicon, the Zodiac, towards the Age of Aquarius. In the 60s all over the protesting student youths were fascinated by this revolutionary, creative transcendence; they were looking at guerrilla documentary films in the jazz cellars, they wore black berets, with "new age" music they welcomed the revolution, were dancing to the rhythm of the galactic spheres. This was a time before everything was ideologized to the "5th dimension". Today, globally, we have to grasp imperialism at its very cultural and economic roots, we have to become radical, we have to eradicate an obsolete, apocalyptic world order. This can only be accomplished by negating it dialectically, by annihilating its major roots: economic exploitation of nature and man; political domination by the ruling class State with all its oppressive institutions and corrupt machinery; social discrimination, ranging from the unequal global master-slave relations to the repression of women and children, to open violent racism against indigenous peoples and ransacked continents; universal militarization and genocide, ranging from "full spectrum dominance", to "preventive wars", to "military humanism", to "the war against international terrorism"; and finally, dehumanization, ranging from a global mental holocaust, launched ever since Ancient Greece, to total human alienation, brought about by capitalist indoctrination and ruling class manipulation, media disinformation, an education for corporate barbarism, a dying culture and merciless dissocialization and a pathological disassociation. This is not an academic issue, it is a battle of life or death. Before we can even talk about Marxism, at first, in our schools and missions, at our universities we have to study capitalism scientifically and philosophically. Soon we will discover that with ruling class ideology, with formal logic, with religious metaphysics, with pacifism and reformism we cannot identify the very destructive, bellicose roots of capitalism. To know living Marxism is to know globalized capitalism, is to know that big business is war, and that war is big business. We cannot introduce big business (mammon) and socialism in Venezuela at the same time. A socialism that is not radically anti-capitalist, that is not Marxist, that nurtures class consensus and alliances, that negates global class struggle, eventually will degenerate into reformism. This historic truth was verified scientifically by all the attempted, aborted and betrayed social revolutions of the 20th century. Cuba is a very special case, but even there currently the social revolution is in serious danger. Only by knowing the transhistoric truth about capitalism can we discover the roots of its negation, that is, of socialism, Marxism. The latter is just as alive and globalized as capitalism itself. What is hindering its recognition and realization is capitalist ideology, is the absence of philosophic theory, of scientific praxis. Generally the radical students, the youth movements, the workers' vanguard investigate and enrich the class struggle. However, the brutal onslaught of mind, thought and act control is playing havoc with the youth on a world scale. No where else in the world this heinous crime is so clear as in Venezuela, where for a decade already it is being perpetrated by the "opposition" and the international mass media against President Hugo Chavez, against the Bolivarian Revolution. But also some of our comrades have internalized bourgeois ideology and practices, and it is very difficult to exorcize capitalist attitudes and behavior patterns over night. Independent of the fact that our acts and thoughts may be stopped, censured or forbidden, sometimes even by our very own comrades-in-arms, there are scientific facts and philosophic truths right before our eyes, which our partially manipulated and indoctrinated minds very often cannot grasp, cannot fathom, cannot accept. Hence, in this spirit, let us look at the background of the current revolutionary inertia of the youth and students at schools and universities. What is causing this social danger for the future of mankind? What is absent, what is being destroyed systematically? The answer is very simple: It is youth itself, youthful anticipatory daydreams, the concrete, utopian principle of hope (Ernst Bloch)! Just now we will give an example of the theoretical power and veracity of true Marxist analysis, and transhistoric scientific prediction. Inter alia, compared to the 60s of the previous century, to the massive, global protests against the Vietnam War, to the concrete support for the liberation movements in Latin America and Africa, to the Black Power movement in the United States of America, to the freedom struggles against world imperialism and to the condemnation of Apartheid in South Africa and of Zionism in Israel, relatively, at the eve of the 21st Century, globally very little revolutionary activity and thought can be registered among pupils, students and the youth in general. Or, is it just that the Murdoch empire does not inform us about global rebellion? Except some brave political paradigms, even within the Bolivarian Revolution, in Venezuela itself, the absence of university fire, of emancipatory praxis and theory, that is, of socialism, of Marxism, is alarming. * What happened? What is happening to our ministries of education, our institutions of learning, their curricula and teachers? *To our students and professors? * Why does a great part of the academic youth at the traditional universities of Venezuela and elsewhere mostly support reactionary, reformist and anti-socialist tendencies? Over the last decade a lot was done to remedy this critical situation, but working class conscientization is moving forward at snail pace. * What is the class character of the students at our instittions of higher learning? Which class interests do they defend, to what are they aspiring? * Why are we looking mainly towards the past for revolutionary solutions, while in reality the future is ours? * Why is it so arduous to establish new revolutionary schools and universities, to create working class consciousness, to win over the students for the revolution, for socialism in Venezuela? * What is the "educational" role of capitalist consumerism, music, videos, video games, education, religion and ideology in the globalized pacification of the youth? * In globalization, are there no workers anymore, do they not form any social class anymore? Are students not future workers, part of class struggle? Surely, these questions we have to ask, to study, but within the limits of a short article, we can just touch some factors of emancipatory pertinence. Scientifically and philosophically, questions are answers, and answers are questions, are questionable. Hence, here are more youthful answering questions and more academic questioning answers: Now, really learning from living, dialectical history, what really fascinated and bewitched the global youth of the 60s? What had to be halted with LSD and drugs of the CIA? What is currently absent in Venezuela? In the 60s what did all the huge metropolitan printing houses publish? For example, which works were republished by S. Fischer Verlag or Suhrkamp Verlag in Germany? Believe it or not: it was classic works of Marxists, the collected works of Leon Trotsky! Writings of Fidel Castro, Malcom X, Che Guevara and the Dependency theoreticians. These works the students read, studied and they developed their own social theories and political forms of resistance. It was a time when at first one was studying a book of Marx, for example, the Manifesto of the Communist Party, and only then one was able fairly to criticize Marxism constructively. In the 60s, Revolutionary Theory was in the air, Emancipatory Praxis was in the making, and the youths were on the barricades. At the same time, a restructuring of the world market took place, a new technological revolution was ushered in; Orwellian globalization, global terrorism, was launched, to stop this emancipatory fire. The modern bedeviling of class struggle, socialism, communism and Marxism began. . Of course, concerning this phenomenon much has been said and written.However, in the meantime, what has disappeared from the curricula of all major international universities? With what was the history of workers' movements, of global class struggle replaced? For example, across 26 years, who was still teaching such "obsolete" subjects at the University of The Andes? Many leading Bolivarian comrades learned about Marxism for the first time in my iniversity seminars. However, returning to our central topic, here we can just briefly highlight the most important factors that sparked off juvenile revolutionary fervor in the middle of the 20th century, that grasped the imagination of the "wretched of the earth" and which seemingly is currently lacking in Venezuelan academic life. My teacher, the German philosopher Ernst Bloch summarized it as the hot (emotional, theoretical) and cold (incisive, scientific) currents in Marxism, as explained in his philosophic reflections with reference to the then aborted socialist revolution in Chile. But, at first, let us look at who all world wide were supporting the fascist ruling class status quo, and what did they attack with all the ferocious might of their ideological, belligerent apparel and State power. Today, this does not seem to be necessary anymore. Why? Did Plato in his "Republic" or Hitler in his "Mein Kampf" (My Struggle) tell the global rulers what to do with controlled education and international mas media? During the reactionary racist epoch of McCarthy in the United States, but also in the 60s, during the "Cold War", the most hated political actors and thinkers were either true Marxists or critical persons who were denigrated as "communists"and who were systematically eliminated as "Marxists". In this way in Indonesia a million "communists" were slaughtered within a very short period of time. Their crime was the mistake to have been inspired by an 'obsolete' Marx. The apartheid regimes of Southern Africa even passed Anti-Communism Laws, and imprisoned anyone who possessed or studied the writings of Marxists with a minimum sentence of five years jail. In fact, the Minister of Justice personally was given the right to decide what was communism or Marxism. In this way, my Ph.D thesis on the Influence of Marxism in Southern Africa landed under the ax of censorship of apartheid. The racist, fascist regime was radically anti-Marxist. The architect of apartheid in South Africa, Hendrik F. Verwoerd, studied anti-communism in Hitler's "Third Reich". German Nazism was radically anti-Marxist. Many gypsies, Blacks and Marxists also ended up in the Jewish "holocaust". Although many famous Marxists were Jews, were persecuted by the Nazi regime, Zionism, the Israeli version of apartheid, till this day is radically anti-Marxist. Stalinism assassinated Lenin's Bolsheviks, eradicated revolutionary Marxism in the Soviet Union and elsewhere. Over the last decades, the Venezuelan "puntofijista" governments were all anti-Marxist, they negated dialectics and the class struggle. In China we have a "communism" liberated from Mao tse-Tung and Marx. What happened to Tito's Marxism in Yugoslavia? Did all these pro-capitalist and pro-imperialist regimes want to save us, the world, from the 'red danger', from Marxism? Is current global fascism an antidote, a panacea against Marxism? Now, why do the youth, the revolutionaries of Venezuela urgently need knowledge about Marxism? What can Marxism teach us about our current Orwellian present? What is socialism without Marxism? What are our erudite professors hiding from the student youth? Let us see how out-of-date, how 'obsolete', how radical can Marxism be. The first scientific theoreticians of current globalization, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, in 1848, with up to date theoretical precision already described the current global crisis. They predicted the current apocalyptic reality of "modern bourgeois society", of all corporate capitalist moguls which over the centuries has been conjured up by the mortal spells of private property of the means of production, of concentration and monopolization of capital, of elites who "no longer (will be) able to control the powers of the nether world": In the Manifesto of the Communist Party, they wrote: "A similar movement is going on before our own eyes. Modern bourgeois society with its relations of production, of exchange and of property, a society that has conjured up such gigantic means of production and of exchange, is like the sorcerer who is no longer able to control the powers of the nether world whom he has called up by his spells." 1) Apart from oil prices approximating 150 dollars per barrel, of world famine, of global over-production, concerning the above, by selecting topics at random, on June 13, 2008, world news had the following eerie head lines: * United States And Russia Sack Top Generals In Preparation For Total Global War 2) * Australia Orders Troops To Leave Iraq, Joins Call For War Crimes Charges Against US Leaders 3) * China Orders Strike Against US For Catastrophic Earthquake 4) * Massive US Built Space Plane ‘Blasted’ Out Of Sky Over South-East Asia 5) * Brazil Prepares Nuclear Bomb Test To Protect Amazon Rights 6) Really, we are vegetating in dangerous times! That this was coming, we were warned in 1848 already! How far the Yankee sorcerer really has driven bellicose affairs, the following information from one of the articles mentioned above is witnessing. This came from the "nether world" (Marx): "Chinese and Russian Military scientists, these reports say, are concurring with Canadian researcher, and former Asia-Pacific Bureau Chief of Forbes Magazine, Benjamin Fulford, who in a very disturbing video released from his Japanese offices to the American public, details how the United States attacked China by the firing of a Billion Million Volt Shockwave from the Americans High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) facilities in Alaska. ... Russian scientists are further speculating that the United States strike against China was ‘exactly timed’ to coincide with the dangerous experiments ongoing at Large Hadron Collider for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), and which we had previously reported on in our May 13th report titled “CERN ‘Nailed Heart Of Earth’ With China Quake, Chilean Volcano”. 7) What causes this severe global contradiction, what generates world wars, produces the the current recession, a century and a half ago, Marx and Engels already explained in the "Manifesto of the Communist Party": "For many a decade past the history of industry and commerce is but the history of the revolt of modern productive forces against modern conditions of production, against the property relations that are the conditions for the existence of the bourgeoisie and of its rule. In this way, from a materialist dialectical view the scientific progenitors of socialism also explained the origins of private property, religion, social classes, class rule, class struggle and history, which are basic concepts to understand the modern State, ruling class education for barbarism, capitalist ideology and practices, global disinformation campaigns and fatal, academic, intellectual alienation. Furthermore, they revealed that under capitalism not only some societies are "at risk"; on the contrary, the whole capitalist society is "on trial". Far from becoming "obsolete", long before writing and publishing "Capital", they knew that capitalism is periodically being haunted by "over-production" and that it is essentially a system of permanent, epidemic crises, in other words, that it is a murderous mode of self-destruction: "It is enough to mention the commercial crises that by their periodic return put the existence of the entire bourgeois society on trial, each time more threateningly. In these crises a great part not only of the existing products but also of the previously created productive forces, are periodically destroyed. In these crises there breaks out an epidemic that, in all earlier epochs, would have seemed an absurdity--the epidemic of over-production." 8) Capitalist barbarism as we experience it currently as globalization is directly linked to an over-production of goods, of physical human wares, to the elimination of physical labor forces, the only real source of surplus values, to their replacement by a galaxy of computers and machines -- which neither consume nor realize profits -- and to monopolization and concentration of capital, to progressive geometrical pauperization and famine of billions on a world scale. "Society suddenly finds itself put bad into a state of momentary barbarism; it appears as if a famine, a universal war of devastation had cut off the supply of every means of subsistence; industry and commerce seem to be destroyed." 9) And how does the global, capitalist bourgeoisie get over these periodic crises? By destructive, fascist, terrorist global wars: "On the one hand by enforced destruction of a mass of productive forces: on the other, by the conquest of new markets, and by the more thorough exploitation of the old ones. That is to say, by paving the way for more extensive and more destructive crises, and by diminishing the means whereby crises are prevented." 10) Precisely this world imperialism is doing now, bringing mankind on the brink of global nuclear wars. Finally, capitalism has reached the Rubicon, the stage of globalization, of global fascism and terrorism. The United States of America, the "Empire" is just a significant part of world imperialism. The Second Conquest has begun: the military capture of strategic resources, oil, gas, biodiversity, metals and minerals, water and oxygen. All these are to be privatized and placed under the control of a single world State of global corporations. Venezuela, like Bolivia, possesses the above in abundance and hence finds itself in the front line of global fascist attacks. All these imperialist projects of global conquest were studied, were prepared for decades already. "Think tanks", the Bilderberg group and the Club of Rome all were and are engaged theoretically and scientifically in the formulation and organization of practical strategies of immediate conquest. Compared to other species, the only formidable weapon of mankind is its brains. It only survived because it developed thinking, thought, theory, philosophy and wisdom. About Reason, a synonym for Capital, we will not talk now. Contemporary ruling class man is the most irrational, criminal being in the galaxies. Thinking is negating, is relating, contradicting, is searching for the flowing truth, is anticipation, emancipation. Ernst Bloch stated: Thinking is venturing beyond. What is the negation of capitalism? What is anti-capitalism, anti-imperialism, anti-terrorism? It is emancipatory theory and praxis; it is scientific and philosophic socialism, it is living Marxism. In our schools and universities, in our mass media, not reason has fled the scene, not capital or capitalism is leaving Venezuela. World wide, the negation of capitalism, Marxism, dialectically produced by capitalism itself as its negation, is being destroyed. In this way, capitalism is destroying itself, has become an auto-destructive brainless mode of production, a productive mode of self-destruction, and therewith of man himself. To do anything still, to think about emancipation, to venture beyond all revolutions, our youth, our students urgently should study capitalism, and therewith discover socialism, Marxism. Marxism is not a caricature, a joker, a cook book, a recipe or a panacea for all evils. It is the true negation of capitalism, it is socialism, the other side of capitalism itself.
